GROUP NAME: Hathian Well-Family Clinic

TYPE: Midwife and Pediatric facility

SLURL: Vodou

BACKSTORY: the well-family clinic will cater to the needs of pregnant women before, during and after childbirth, and provide checkups, immunizations and well-baby visits for newborns through age 12. The idea came about when Talya Carr, nurse practitioner at HGH, earned her certification as a nurse-midwife, and was spurred into action when the Hathian Children's Home burned down, providing a location in a safer area of town that would still be close enough to Hathian to be accessible.

UNIQUE: While there is no shortage of medical care available in Hathian, there is a distinct lack of a facility specializing in pediatric and obstetric care, specifically one geared toward educational, natural, and holistic care of expectant mothers and young children.

EXP:I play almost exclusively in CD and have a few alts who are active members of the community. I am level-headed and diplomatic,and have no issues with any of the players here. I feel I can effectively deal with any hiccups that may come up before they become issues at all. I also have RL experience with management in business.

IDEAS:with the huge amount of pregnancy and child rp I've observed in CD, I think this will be a great opportunity to bring together players who might not ordinarily play together. We would hold events like Super Shot Saturdays, Lamaze classes, and March of Dimes walks or fundraisers for Jerry's Kids.

OTHER:Opportunities for child and family roleplay in CD are limited, and this clinic will open the door that closed with the loss of the Children's Home.
