BACKGROUND: For the last several OOC months, Agony has been the IC Manager to the Theater under Mayor Matfield. She knows the run of the place in great detail obviously, and is not at all new to running the business more on her own than anything else. The Theater is not stingy on what it will allow behind its walls at this point; be it use as a venue for local bands? Or as a scene for something more underground such as a Fetish Ball as was recently hosted with great turn out. Youth events, concerts, business parties, rental hall for personal affairs. Hathian Theater will be ever willing to take your dollar for whatever it is you see fit to use it for. And don’t be surprised if you come to find that the poster is just a front for a little something else going on behind closed doors! I fully intend to mix things up; and while the business will not be utterly Revenant oriented? It would be a good location for their working girls and drugs to come through time to time for a boost in profit the night of an event, a sort of ‘legal’ cover for that income. [“Oh dear. What do you mean someone didn’t come home from the party? Sorry Officer, we ain’t seen her.” + “I don’t know how they got those Bath Salts. We’re just a Performing Arts Center!”] Social situations in which citizens go missing. Kidnappings straight off the Theater floor in the midst of what looks to be an act. Spiked drinks that, let's be honest. Those were already watered down, to begin with! A range of kids friendly parties where the local children have a safe little time, all the way to the business on the front pages for very strange occurrences. Agony has no end of ideas, and would have one Hell of a stage to fulfill them with the Theater as her own.

 

UNIQUE: While Lou’s is more strictly a social gathering for drinking and billiards? And, the Twister is specialized in adult entertainment? The Theater is here to provide a much wider array of situation for the community to gather and involve in. Positioned where even the community youth can have access? This business has a special quality all it’s own and I intend to advance on that. A little bit of something for everyone. Shows, contests, parties, and private events? This business runs and thrives on the interactions of others. And I will be ready and willing to work with everyone to make sure the best of the ideas come through for all to involve in. Bold themes, and the input of the community will make for a long list of options for everyone to partake in.

 

EXPERIENCE:I have over 17 years of Roleplay experience behind me; almost 4 of which are here in CD. I have performed in the capacity of aid, mentor, GM, and admin at varying times on websites, forums, and client formats [such as SL and IMVU]. I have been self-employed for years in the Arts; which leads to habits formed around good scheduling as well as the sorting of information. Also, I have worked in the Management fields RL where the handling of employee and client is the priority. Keeping everyone in the right flow, and happy is a trained habit now. I am big on open communication, both in and out of character, and quick to get back in contact with those looking to advance their stories into the business!

 

IDEAS:The Theater is a great option for a part-time IC job for many. It would offer them flexible hours, and a way and the offer of other business’ to set up stall and make a little buck themselves. A public getty where inside or out of the building? Citizens will enjoy a daytime mixer! One where you are free to bring the kids for once. Perhaps a bit of the local talent showing off their skills? I would definitely be open to others stepping up to perform and show off a bit of the expertise and flair the rest of the community might not have known they had.
