Proposed by Perina McGinnis to continue leadership of the Hathian Observer Newspaper and the new office that will bet setup in Hathian.

Note: A variety of stands will be placed on the estate; one of them will be a newspaper stand which can be clicked on to see the latest news right away via object IM or ability to launch browser to read thoroughly.

GROUP NAME: Hathian Observer

BACKSTORY: I've loved using the newspaper as a true community tool to both tell people's stories in the Den & push roleplay forward. I'm not sure how the paper came about, but I began running it after the flood in April 2010 I think, & from the get go, the goal has been to see it used and used well for CD as a whole. Overall in Hathian, I don't have much of an agenda - just to roleplay out a story realistically with minimal issues that'd otherwise make things unfun. 🙂

UNIQUE: It's the only newspaper, muahahaha.

EXP: I try my best to pleasant to everyone in the Den and helpful to any with questions, remaining open to various ideas. In that regard, though, I've also learned when its appropriate to tell folks 'no', which is definitely needed sometimes.

IDEAS: Mostly I would just like to continue encouraging people to contribute, because the more people participate, the better the paper will be for their roleplay. I'd also like to hold some office hours with the staff once we have a location to build some more of that roleplay as well. As for newcomers, I hope the paper is something they can read back on and get a good feel for the atmosphere in the Den, also providing them with some idea of who to contact for various things.

OTHER: The newspaper would be an amazing fit! Trust meeeeeee. (That work?)
