GROUP NAME: Clam Convenience Store

TYPE: Store

BACKSTORY: My character, Kelly, started working in the clam a little while ago. She is using it as a front to sell her product (drugs) out of. She found it was safer and more convenient than selling on a street corner. My overall agenda in Hathian is to try and promote immersive RP for everyone. Running a store where people, whether new or old, come into visit or buy something helps in that step. Especially for new people it can give them that leg up and taste of what RP in CD is like without having to be thrown into a heavy group of RPers and maybe feel intimidated by it all.

UNIQUE: Kelly has been selling drugs for a few weeks now out of the Clam. She has protected the store from ruffians and even landed in the hospital with a broken ribs and collapsed lung from a couple tweakers wanting to rob the place. It's a second line of income for her. Even when it's slow though, Kelly is doing her own things to keep her amused in the store. I"m always open for RP, whether it be someone who is just planning on buying a drink or someone that wants to rob the place. It's also not just a store, it's a front, as I have said, to sell drugs. Eventually I expect to see some back lash (when word gets out) from this from other people who are also selling which will just open it up to even more RP.

EXP:I am very open to playing with just about anyone. Whether they be someone new or someone who is use to RP. I started out RPing over 10 years ago with pen and paper and than LARP, which then switched to MSN chat rooms and Yahoo till I found Second LIfe. I have been on SL for about four years, and in that time I have run, RP classes, managed sims, ran security and helped SIMs with their start ups and even ran a few groups. I believe that with this experience, I have the knowledge needed to run a group and be a leader in CD.

IDEAS:I could have a free slushy day or coupons sent out in the "mail" or to be clipped out of the newspaper. Can maybe get a few other shops involved and have like a little block party opened up to everyone, enticing new people to come and get immersed in the RP of CD.

OTHER:I am very immersed into the RP. I even have Kel growing her own weed to sell so that it all doesn't just come out of thin air and to keep RP going on all fronts to make it interesting. She carries it to the clam everyday in a brown paper bag and hides it behind the counter. It's the fine details that I like to pay attention to that, in my opinion, help to make immersive RP what it is
