BACKSTORY: If accepted, I plan on continuing with the prior director's objectives that are in place, seeing them come to fruition. Structure is vital to the success of this and any business. Plans need to be in place for: legal services as well as social services. There needs to be clear cut guidelines to help those getting started in the roles. It would be ideal to have assistant directors, with experience in each area, to help oversee each division, making the roleplay more intentional and focused. Additionally, I would like to establish a datebase of citizens that are interested in fostering the youth when a need arises, either due to homelessness or being pulled from an unsuitable home, instead of trying to hunt them down on the spot. Activity days for the youth is another idea I would like to see happen. In working in conjunction with other entities such as the movie theater, FD, PD, local eateries etc, having some sort of event for a few hours or so once a month for the kids would be great. Every two to three months having a community outreach day (working with other entities) in which homeless, poor, etc are able to get services for free, such as a blanket from a store, free burger from the Gein, free checkup at the hospital...things of that nature.

UNIQUE: Civil Services, just by the nature of the office, is unique with its role in the community. The office provides valuable services to the youth, homeless and destitute of the community. Plans are for social and legal services to be much more visible in the community, really getting to know the citizens and their needs.

EXP:In Hathian, I started as a youth and aged a while back. This will be my first leadership role in the community. Currently, I am a social worker with CS and have held positions at Gein and the Pie Hole. Previously I have held the position as director of an adoption agency/grammar school for well over a year on a roleplay sim, as well as assisted with moderation.(The sim has since closed.)

IDEAS:In addition to those I have mentioned above roleplaying as a youth, I know how difficult it is to get established somewhere. There are some excellent child roleplayers in CD, many leaving or aging up due to lack of involvement. I would love to see this trend reversed. Additionally, I see CS as a welcome stop when arriving in Hathian, both IC and OOC. Given the location of the building near the landing point, many newcomers venture into the office. We have an excellent opportunity to make them feel welcome.
