Prime Guts

TYPE: Official

BACKGROUND: Skipping backstories, our characters (Chloe and Alistair) came all the way from Dead End, Michigan where they spent a good two months before turning into felons, and before the PD could even lay their hands on them they scooted off far away and arrived in Hathian. Their crimes? Stealing.. certain human viscera, basically. For awhile they lurked in the shadows, but the storm clears and they feel the need to rise again. What better way then to roll into town looking like a rich, fancy-ass duo, ready to swoop up any business in town? And the business they eyed? The butcher shop. It's perfect, really. Out front, freshly cut meat, and at the back, an entire market for human viscera. The main focus, primarily, falls on any aiding of story progression. Particularly, in this case, Chloe and her developing mental illness. She's gained a knack for collecting various human specimens, a morbid fascination if you must. The idea is to basically utilize the butcher shop as a means of getting pieces of unknowing (and some even willing) customers. I understand the challenge to grasp someone actually willing to give away body parts just like that, but there are /tons/ of viscera to choose from that aren't vital, and, may even be able to grow back at some point. This also offers a new RP point for people, if they ever are looking for some trouble to get themselves into, they'll know the dark and overall dreary atmosphere of the butcher shop beckons them. Meanwhile Al will be the one running away from their human-torturing past, he wants literally nothing to do with human-anything... and quite frankly the butcher shop reminds him of nothing but that. (Since contacting the current Boss we've come to realize that they're no longer around as much.. and as much as we would have loved to collaborate our ideas, it would seem fitting now that we gain IC manager roles, and are planning to take over the business entirely.) Their means of getting the organs are quite simple, usually black marketed from Latin America at extremely cheap prices, basically packaged and delivered like normal freakin' meat, and shipped to the store to be stocked up in the backroom. In the future there could possibly be plans of gaining means of organ trafficking in Hathian itself. Perhaps by hiring locals and flourishing them in the act (taught by yours truly). This'll also be another opportunity for RPers to head on in and become freakin' talents. Awesome. As for regular events, we plan to paint a good image of the duo, basically arranging homeless food drives every month and doing a little BBQ event for those starving mouths on the streets. That sort of stuff. The pair will be offered to the town as literal saints, and beneath the innocent facade is a tarnished record for pain and suffering. The entire sinless act is just a ruse to throw any suspicion off, if.. anything even slips out. Al is basically a mastermind and the boy lays his tracks out carefully, as careful as he covers them. Al landed a manager position back in DE about a week from being hired, and not long after Chloe gained the security lead for the shop, needless to say they excel in their work profoundly, and fitting into a management position is something they've molded into. Slithering their way to the top will prove to be no challenge for the pair. They're charming, scheming, sly and cunning. Al is the literal brains of the duo (having learnt how to extract a person's kidney from a freakin' Google Doc), and Chloe is the fist that strikes.

UNIQUE: Hands down, the characters running the joint. No one has ever met a dynamic duo until they've met these two maniacs. The mere theatrics and melodramatics these two display are immensely captivating. People will be coming back to see the show, over and over. If the stunning personalities aren't enough, the food will keep them a-comin'. As for playing out their personalities in the store, Al is basically a moody bastard who hates the idea entirely of being near any meat (including human, for that matter). He's not fond of getting his hands dirty, and being reclusive he's going to stick to the back of the store, if even ever inside the store. On the other hand, Chloe is determined, excited if anything. She's the spout of bright (and morbidly dark) ideas and Al will basically garner them into realistically planned out maneuvers for her own safety.

EXPERIENCE:The pair have been left to run the Quickie on their own ever so often, they basically know that business on the back of their hands. They've been utilized by the hands of a gang, following orders are just as easy as giving them. And they've gotten on their own initiative to initiate ruses of their own; the star feature: human viscera for a famed and noted cannibal. The pair have gained an infamous status as masked bandits, and they remain uncaught. On top of that, we handle everything OOC pretty well, we /beam/ a death-ray of friendliness and we're extremely patient people. We're workable, open to any sort of discussion, and well, we're just here to have fun. We've had ups and downs IC, and OOC, but nothing can't be handled in the most mature manner.

IDEAS:The importance of welcoming new players will always be evident, but I think it goes further than just teaching them. Allowing them to grow on their own makes just as much of an impact, the emphasis being on their own initiative here. We'll basically allow them to nurture their characters the way they want with the aid of our business and our own characters as well. We've had experiences in the past where we'd hire ourselves for a business and that was about it.. no one came to talk with us from the business, and there wasn't space for our characters to grow IC through the establishment. This won't be the case for the butcher shop, we'll make sure every employee has a star role in /something/, and we'd take discussion to a higher level and even OOC, which is always helpful.

OTHER:Firstly, we'd be ecstatic if this even makes the forums. Talk about being approved, that's amazing, and something worth celebrating. Really. So, we'd have the usual stuff, free drinks, food, which mainly comes from the left over stock from the previous owner. Being absolutely anal and OCD, they'd probably switch out suppliers and wouldn't even think twice about mixing the meat of two different stockers. That's absolutely horrid. We'd start off with the first homeless food drive, so from the very beginning they are basically saints. Meanwhile Chloe is already eyeing her first preys.
