GROUP NAME: Blackriver Security

BACKSTORY: First this is a little confusing. This is NOT a Group application. I only want the business listed on the business page. Currently every group listed is an "official CD Business," however it says "Business names marked with the symbol are considered official CD groups and all registered CD Citizens are eligible to join instantly....Alternatively, you can get jobs at establishments that are listed below and are run by resident role-players. Please IM the listed contact to learn how to join!" We fall under "Alternatively...run by resident role-players" but would like to get it listed on the Business page, and there is not any other form or POC for that listing...everything points to the Groups Proposal form. We have about 18 active participants, and have been doing well for several months. This isn't a proposal as we aren't seeking or planning on an official group at this time, just a listing on the page as a player-run group. UNIQUE: There is not currently responsible private security company. Many Private Property locations have NPC Security but there is seldom anyone available to play those roles, and our pool is willing to by prearrangement. We've been engaged in roleplay for three months and created some very interesting stories internally and externally.

EXP:In general I think our shared leadership has done very well at bringing together a diverse and professional group and promoting interesting and intense roleplay. I am more of an organizer than a "leader" in the Gang Sense.

IDEAS:Again, stressing this is not a group proposal - In general the existence of a well organized group that promotes moderation and neutrality and promotes a degree of coherence and security at some gatherings seems like a welcome addition. So far we've been very well received.

OTHER:Again, in general it's operating and has been for the last two months. I'll add that we've been very careful to stress that work with Blackriver does not provide *any* equipment or access to weapons that exceed the current Sim rules.
