CD Berthier Street Bakery

SLURL:

BACKGROUND: After having dwelled on it for a little bit, I came to the conclusion that the direction I'd want to take the bakery in would be to make it a cafè as well. I mean, sure we have the Grind - but to me it's a cofffee house. I would love for costumers to be able to come in and order food and drinks and be able to sit there and relax. It would still, of course be a bakery where you can come and pick up baked goods and leave - but it would also have a cafe aspect to it. A regular event I would love to see happen would be bake offs once a month or for the bakery to 'cater' at events to make them more visible. There could also be Cupcake Mondays where people that buy a cupcake get a free coffee etc etc. As for new employees, I'd make sure to at least be able to roleplay with them once when they're new. Due to time zones and such, I understand that can be hard - but I'd love to do staff meetings and so forth. I think my character would fit as management because she loves baking more than she likes to sleep, and she wants nothing more than to help the others thrive and feel well at work as well.

UNIQUE: For instace, if the bakery doesn't have one already, I'd create a twitter for it to spread the word to the characters that have in character accounts on twitter, which is quite a bit I've come to learn. I would also have employees (and myself of course) hand out fliers to people on the streets and I would try to have the bakery be involved in events and so forth. And I would put any events on the calendar so everyone could see.

EXPERIENCE:Well, as a leader I need to be able to handle feedback, good or bad. And I'm patient and I'm always open to new things and to help keep the business evolving. I would do my very best to keep employees and costumers happy both IC and OOC. I want everyone to enjoy a good story.

IDEAS:I would try my very best (because you know, time zones) to do in character interviews and try to engange them in scenes that makes it fun for them to want to come back and put hours into the shop. Maybe do staff meetings every now and then so more of the coworkers could meet each other and so forth.

OTHER:If I could do a gran re-opening I would love to be able to remodel the place, to develop the cafè aspect that I suggested. I would throw a party or host a bake off to draw attention to the bakery.

"This was never my story. It's yours. Now, don't screw it up, okay? ."
