BACKSTORY: Little is known about the financial backers for the two arms of the AS businesses, but rumours suggest a shadowy group of Japanese capitalists who see the high crime statistics of Hathian ripe for exploitation. The two arms of the business are run separately but are complimentary, and form a 'one-stop-death-shop'. The Funeral Services: The Business aims to offer a complete selection of ways to dispatch your corpse, from the top-of-the range crystal glass coffin and vintage Hearse procession to contract burial of 'John & Jane Doe' in a basic wooden box and unmarked grave under contract to the HPD or coroner for unclaimed bodies. On site facilities include a chapel of rest for grieving friends and relatives to pay their last respects, a burial ground and crematorium. The Forensics & Pathology Lab Services: A private Lab offering Forensic and Pathology services, not just to the HPD, but to any group or individual. Confidentiality and the integrity of the scientific data are assured to all clients. Services include; DNA matching and paternity tests. Autopsies and pathology. Fingerprint analysis. Toxicology. Firearms and ballistics analysis. E-crime involving mobile phones, computers and other electronic devices. Drug and alcohol testing. Detailed examination of items and samples from people, vehicles and places for all kinds of marks, and all types of chemical and biological traces.

UNIQUE: Although a morgue and autopsy facilities are currently available and used expertly at HGH by the ME Dr Takahiro Ugimachi, the AS businesses are being set up to provide a more in-depth RP vehicle for any groups, Police Officers, Detectives or individuals who; (a) Would like to kill off their avatar in style with a full funeral or cremation ceremony RP or (b) Would like to involve CSI style Laboratory RP. Dr Ugimachi has agreed to work as a 'freelance' Pathologist at the Lab when needed. Any players wishing to RP working in the businesses can, if accepted, choose to specialise in one or both departments.

EXP:Dr Teo Micqui (TeoMicqui Resident) is an alt of my main character Detective Angel Moonshadow (AngelLynne Moonshadow). I am VERY active on the sim and have worked on over 200 cases within the HPD. I love the RP within CD and the complex ongoing storylines. I see this business as a way to add a lot of fun CSI RP and depth to my investigations and to offer the same to other Officers and the wider community. I have become hooked on the quality of the Sim and RP in CD and have learnt a lot from some outstanding players since I started RP'ing here. I believe in fair play and respect to other players and I hope this business will offer some fun RP potential back to the community.

IDEAS:For the Forensics and Pathology I have built a very detailed and functioning Lab (working chiller cabinets, autopsy tables, Coroner's van and numerous props etc.). For the Funeral Services I have a showroom, Chapel of Rest, Working Crematorium, Graveyard (with coffins and graves that can be carried and actually buried!) and a Vintage Hearse procession. The idea would be to assist with all aspects of an avatars demise! There may also be scope for some dubious and macabre RP (selling body parts, creating poisons etc.) as time goes on.

OTHER:I had the idea to set up the Lab because I would like to develop CSI and Forensic scene RP more in my HPD crime scenes and investigations, but Dr Teo is completely separate character and this separation also allows criminals to have RP interaction with her and the services of the Lab. The services for both departments will be available on an ad-hoc 'as required' basis by contacting Dr Teo Micqui (TeoMicqui Resident) for an appointment or phone call (I get Offline IM's on my phone and normally respond immediately or within hours). My main character Detective Angel Moonshadow (AngelLynne Moonshadow) is not IC connected to the Lab, but can be contacted by anyone needing props for crime scene RP.
