Flight Missing
At 230pm on 11th April Lieutenant Cyrus Felwood of Columtreal University Police Department held a press conference to gathered press, family and students to announce that the private chartered flight to carry the Columtreal University All-Star cheerleading squad, known as the "CU Cheerios", to competition in Florida has vanished.
The plane disappeared from radar after leaving Louisiana airspace and has now been missing for over 48 hours, sparking alarm in the tight-knit university town of Black Bottom, where Columtreal University campus claims 90 percent of it.
Notable Students
According to the flight manifest many notable students were on-board; Casino heiress Shilo Casen, whose family own the jet. Buffy and the Slayers singer, and daughter of tech mogul Damean Gage, Sarah-Michelle Buffy Gage is also listed as being on the flight. K-Pop idol Ayumi Hema. Up and coming model Calliope Kharg and a dozen other notable students who form the elite cheer squad or are supporters of the squad.
Lieutenant Felwood stated "There has been no contact from anyone, on the plane, whatever happened, happened quick, there was not even a mayday call from the cockpit, prime suspicions are two probabilities; The plane was hit by a storm, frying the electricity on the plane, and it crashed" or "The plane has been hijacked, somehow, the more likely is the first."
When pressed Felwood confirmed he had not received any ransom demands, so believed the first scenario to be the most logical.
How long can they survive?
The US National Transportation Safety Board reviewed aviation accidents from 1983-1999 and found that more than 95% of passengers survived accidents, including 55% in the most serious incidents. Of course that is only chances of survival after impact. If the plane has crashed into the Gulf of Mexico chances of survival in the sea for 48 hours is a lot slimmer. However Louis Zamperini 's 47 days on the ocean after his B-24 crashed in the Pacific during WWII, is likely an oceanic survival record after a plane crash.
"This was never my story. It's yours. Now, don't screw it up, okay? ."
