So, I've not been very active on the forums in general in the years I've been on sim, and this post is most likely going to be a bit ramble-y.

A thing I've been noticing is that the idea of firearms being a last resort seems to be a bit out the window. Most people I've seen having an armed tag will almost always wear that tag (Myself included in this statement).

While this is in one sense logical: "They have a gun, why shouldn't I carry mine?". I've felt it became less a last resort type of thing(as the firearms guide states), for example when met with multiple assailants against one, but instead it's often used as an easy tool for a "win".

Have others noticed similar? And if so, any suggestions how we could turn this back a bit?
