Character Background

Andrea grew up in London UK in a poor area of Islington on a nasty council estate. She pulled herself out of the gutter and graduated from King's College London with nursing credentials.
She was a student nurse at UCH for 3 years before becoming a Custody Nurse Practitioner for the Metropolitan Police. While working a shift one night she was assigned to assess a prisoner who incidentally had raped her sister back in college.

Family coming before career she injected him with a massive dose of morphine hoping no post mortem would be held and it would be assumed he died from positional asphyxiation. This was not the case and she was suspended pending a full investigation.

Rather than face the investigation, she caught the first flight out of London to New York.

Money ran out fast and as desperate girls do, she hooked up with the first loser that could support her.

This was a violent controlling relationship and ended the other night when she ran from the car at a roadside truck stop with a black eye. A kindly trucker bought her breakfast and she cleaned her self up and caught a ride with him to his delivery destination, Hathian.

Family

Mother and Father - Kathleen (64) and Richard (65) are divorced and (of course being British and unemployed) are completely alcoholic white trash. They reside in neighbouring council flats on one of the roughest estates in London. Kath at No.6, Rich at No.8. The wall separating them is weak from the constant punching of the wall, but Kath isn't above sneaking over to No.8 for a quickie to hide the fact she also needs to steal a carton of fags.

Sister - Catherine (20) - after her college rape she was never the same. She works as a barmaid and often spits (or dumps her birth control pills) in the drinks of male punters who all remind her of her attacker while she works at the Oxford Arms Pub in Camden. She oft promises to come visit Andrea but never bothers as she's busy having sex with her co-workers after work every night, fuelling her confusion and rage about the now passed rape incident.

Brother - John (25) - is a useless wretch of a man. He fits carpets for a living and his only points of note are that he overcharges, sells used carpet as new, an personally wanks into the underlay of each carpet as a sick and twisted but overwhelming compulsive fetish.

Brother - Edward (39) - is a Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police and is actively covering up the mess Andrea left behind, after all - he got her the job. He is getting fed up with bribing Interpol officials and is considering not bothering, since Andrea ran out on the whole thing (and him and their sister) anyways, leaving him to suffer Sunday dinner with the crazy quartet that makes up the rest of their family.

Medical History

Healthy and fit (physically).

Andrea has a serious problem with manic depression and is in complete self denial, but as a trained nurse self-medicates as required (or .... desired). She regularly sits on the fence in keeping her self-control.

Andrea is allergic to morphine.
