Raven was born in a story book white middle class house. He never had to work for a thing as his parents provided for him. His only sibling, Sarah, who was three years his senior, was killed in a car accident her senior year of high school in a car accident. He used a lot of the pain of losing his sister to push himself to do good in school and graduating from Yale with a Bachalor's in Social Sciences and Psychology, he learned to play a lot of poker and he loved studying people. After spending some time traveling and finishing his Master's in Criminology, he decided to try out the medical field with becoming an EMT. Landing in Hathian, he didn't know a soul and was excited to meet new people and start a new life.
