amata karassaidAmata is back in town after completing a residency program in adult psychiatry. She's never been away long enough to lose her accent so she's pretty easy to peg as a local. The best way to describe her is laid back, approachable. Just don't expect her to act squeamish or fearful -- even when she is. Her early years were normal, if you consider normal as being raised off the bayou in a community just big enough to be part of a census-designated place. She's not recovering from childhood trauma, though, and she visits her still-married parents regularly ... see, normal. Fast-forward to early adulthood, she's now trained in forensic psychiatry but spending her time providing counseling services, court-ordered or otherwise, through the civil services office. Leave a message for her there if you find yourself in need of therapy. |
