Ahn spends his time working in hopes of saving up to go to school, hoping that having an education will get him out of the rut he feels himself living in. He has a profound sense of responsibility and believes that his fate is determined only by his own choices. Ahn's family consists of his mother, step-father (his bio dad died from a motorcycle accident when he was a baby), and 2 half sisters that are 8 and 11 years younger. He's not close to any of them, feeling more the outsider that came with the package of the man marrying his mother, but he doesn't begrudge them either. He waited until he moved out on his own to confirm his family's doubts that he was gay. While they wouldn't be the type to join a Pride Parade, they don't condemn him either. Speaking of a love life, Ahn doesn't really have one. His longest relationship to date has been about 2 months. Most sex is casual and without strings to fulfill the physical need as he doesn't have time (or really believe in) the prospect of falling in love.
