I'd appreciate some guidelines from y'all. At present, we're in a bit of a vacuum with an apparent absence of any HPD players. I'm not posting to address that issue per se - that's up to those dealing with recruitment and retention.

My specific concern is how to handle it in the meantime. What to do when needing to make a 911 calls that would normally require police response? In a brief conversation last night when such an even occurred, the general opinion seemed to be that people don't want to NPC police response. Medical workers, service-industry folks, they all have a pretty expected reaction. But police, they can go either way and I suspect a fear or metagaming.

So what do we do? Any thoughts?
