abigel-nightfiresaidFebruary: Got hired at Rader Records as a clerk, way, way cool store. Listening to music, chatting, hangin' around with awesome people all day ((place is fucking empty all the time!)). Waiting for John Cusack to come into the store any time now! (or Jack Black) Witnessed an arrest one day in front of the store, this homeless bum was treated rather harshly. Cop almost strangled him! I was not nice to him (called him Stinky Buggerfuck!), I hope I can see him one day, and make up for it. To be honest I just wanted to impress the cop, I am a sucker for badges... But Mr iTunes turned out to be a rude shithead. He didn't want to hear about the discounts... Same day I made friends with another cop, she is sweet! Wanted to make out with me, like since the start! Never hurts to have a friend at the station, but man... I prefer guys to be honest. So, been handing out the pamphlets, which is quite the challenge, let me tell you. 30 percent is quite a bargain, and some people just will shout Spotify and iTunes in the instant they hear about it. People you learn to instantly ignore. Others are just staring into thin air as if infected by some zombie virus. No kidding, there are hours when the whole city is Dead. I left an origami unicorn for one of them, he was sitting on a bench. Okay, so I also left one pamphlet tucked into this awesome cool motorbike, leaving a special lipstick mark on it because come on. That guy can only be COOL. (Still haven't met him in person. Soooo curious!) - Update: Left another pamphlet for him: 40% discount and if he keeps ignoring me, he might get 50% and an engagement ring... Just kiddin' :). Okay, so my first adventure on the Bridge started with this fully black clad smooth looking guy. I approached him with my pamphlets and we were cool until he got a phone call and turned all aggressive... Such a shame, he was really cute. Even showed me his knife and its possible uses. We should meet again, maybe he will apologize. By the way, the meeting inspired me to decorate the bridge a little, but they seemed not to like it in the end. I walked over the other day and it was bleached down... Art is not appreciated in this part of town, let me tell you. Here is the sketch of my art: I climbed the radio tower one evening, one needs to get familiar with the intersting spots of the neighborhood. Well, someone joined me up there, I didn't even see him well, it was so dark. We smoked weed, chatted... made out... I let him, okay, what else could I do, you dont really fight on top of the radio tower... 'twasnotbad. Got hired as a part time clerk at the local comic store too. You know a bit of diversity, /Plus/ I get to read comics all morning for free and listen to music all afternnoon. Speaking of deaily routine, I visit the beach each dawn and exercise a little. Okay, so I had this idea to bring comic books to the police station for the prisoners to read some. CJ didn't oppose the idea, but also sent me to the school. I met a sweet teacher there, a very rude girl and some other kids. Informed them about out the Good Student Discount and left a box of comics for them! I will still need to go to the police station with the other box. Interestingly enough when I walked over the Bridge the other day, there as also some guy loitering around and he was as much rude. Not sure who stick up what in their asses, but they are obsessed about this bridge... I was really nice and playful and not just that he stabbed me in the neck, he tried to throw me off! Well, I kept my cool, blood trickling from my neck and I caught this metal part, held onto it, and while hanging, I even managed to tweet about the situation. Who knows, it could have been my last tweet ever... But a woman saved me! I had a lovely day at the hospital after being stitched up, though I did escape in the evening and celebrated CJ's birthday (comic store boss) at the TT. He is dating the other clerk there, they were sweet. She is a bit hot tempered. A shame she seems to be rather possessive! We drank a little (okay, they drank loads) I danced some, and in the end we were all thrown out. I climbed the pole, I really didn't want to leave, but the bartender brought be down and carried me outside - I held onto him like a little monkey, he smelled so cool! I will have to talk to the manager, maybe I can dance there like once a week for some tips... |
