Hello all!  I've been around about a month and have had some really great RP and met some really fun people so far.  I thank everyone for the welcome!

Jet basically lived a really hard life in his previous town.  His parents were abusive, on drugs/alcoholics.  He pretty much raised himself and spent a lot of time on the streets.  He was taken in by the drug world, dealing for years until he was very well trusted.

Jet also had a best friend growing up, whose mother was a very decent woman and took Jet under he wing.  She has since passed, but this is where Jet learned to be a "good man", even though he pained the woman with all the trouble he caused.  He was always torn between good and bad.

Finally, as he was getting older, in his mid-thirties and still living a fairly worthless life on the street, he began to crave something better for himself.  So he started planning his exit.  He took off with a bunch of money and went to a town he knew the old crew had no dealings in...Hathian.

Since being in Hathian, he has formed a relationship with Vie Masala, and taken on some responsibility with her whole dysfunctional/expanded family.  She also may or may not have helped him a little on passing his background check to become a member of the FD.

Currently Jet is having the good life he's always wanted, even if completely dysfunctional and toxic at times.  He loathes the drug scene and is determined to keep his new family away from that.  This often causes fits of rage.  He's also a very jealous person.  So while he plays the good guy, he has his flaws....and who knows what might put him over the edge to get back into old habits.
