Perfect Dose Pharmacy
By kasimarukka Resident
TYPE: Pharmacy

BACKGROUND: In a town where drugs and accidents happen I feel the Pharmacy has the potential to be showcased a little better. I’d like the opportunity to breathe a little life back into the place. I feel there are a few different aspects that can be shown off and integrated within the community so that everyone has a reason to drop by, whether they need some over the counter pain meds, some condoms last minute or even need a little pill the next morning, we’d have you covered. As for the current and new staff, Shae is a welcoming soul and will encourage her staff to think outside the box when it comes to making sales. It’s a business after all and as long as money is being made she may turn a blind eye to unsavoury behaviour from time to time.
UNIQUE: Beyond the day to day running of the pharmacy, Shae would be looking to be using the Pharmacy as a way to distribute and sell drugs for the Bones. It’s my hope that it would be a more discreet and subtle approach to selling while also bringing RP to one of the less utilized areas of the estate. Shae would achieve this in two ways. She would switch some meds for the drugs and pocketing the cash or through word of mouth either from the streets or by other Bones members directing players to the Pharmacy. Given the nature of the Bones drugs in distribution currently, there is a high chance of repeat custom due to their addictiveness. Shae is also an herbalist and has been making her own remedies, teas and creams for a while, and has even distributed them amongst friends. She would most likely have a little selection on display for sale, just on the off chance someone who is more naturally focussed might buy them.
EXPERIENCE: I’ve been in CD for a number of years and on a few different characters, experiencing a few different aspects (Police/HGH/Gangs) and have a solid understanding of what is to be expected of a lead. As well as that, Shae is the IC manager of Vudu Spice so knows how to make a sale. OOC I’ve been involved in helping welcome and oriante new members both IC and OOC. I welcome all RP and just want everyone to enjoy their time.
IDEAS: I have a couple ideas that would see the business through it's enitial start up, which not only aims to include anyone on sim (new or old players) but opens up opportuinities to work with already established businesses/services. I'd also be looking to build upon as time goes on. - Run flash sales on products to encourage rp and bring players to the store. Who wouldn’t want discounted protein for those gym goers! - Host info classes, perhaps at or with the HGH and the Campus Clinic. These could range from sexual health to why cleaning wounds is beneficial. It can even be centered around a product to increase sales. - With it being a pharmacy there are a selection of services that can be offered (vaccines, health screenings etc) but it can also be an alternative to those who are injured and don’t want to go to hospital as they can get some supplies no questions asked, as long as they pay. - A delivery service could be put in place for those who’d like house calls or need a quick fix
OTHER: Given it’s a Pharmacy, I’d be looking to most likely start with an ‘Under New Management Sale’ to get the word out and encourage footfall. This could run for a weekend or up to a week so that all players from different timezones will get the opportunity to be involved. It could also include staff heading out to the streets etc to hand our fliers or even free samples (who knows what you could end up with). |
