GROUP NAME: Columtreal University Student Government

BACKGROUND: Mission Statement: Columtreal University Student Government (CUSG) is committed to tirelessly advocating on behalf of the student body, enhancing the entire student experience and promoting the image of the university and its students by upholding ourselves to the highest standards, leading with integrity and selflessly serving the university and beyond. Columtreal University Student Government (CUSG) represents students and act in their best interests on academic, extracurricular and social issues. The organization advocates for students at the local (CU/Hathian).

UNIQUE: Columtreal University Student Government (CUSG) brings a sense of student body advocation that aims to enhance the experience of students on campus. There will be relative elections for students to hold a form of 'office' within the CUSG. This is a student run organization, with the club advisor working in the background to assist progressing and leading the club in a positive/active direction. Each officer is duly appointed by an election process that all students (not just club members) have the ability to participate in. This will allow students to 'campaign' for their position whichever they see fit - popularity, bribing. Elections will be held every fall, with campaigns running from August 1st-August 31st. Election will be held on first Monday in September. Monthly Officer Meetings - to be held on the first Wednesday of each month (depending on time availability). Monthly Student Body Meetings - to be held the first Saturday of each month. During Officer Meetings, an agenda will be created that track topics, discussions, planning of events, ect. Student Body Meetings will be led by the President to ensure that students are adequately updated on topics discussed and to offer ideas, thoughts, concerns, etc. Student Body Meetings will also host any updates that faculty may have for the month - ie. safety briefings.

EXP:I am currently the lead for CUPD and have worked as roleplay admin for other sims.

FLAWS:

WORK WITH OTHERS:While CUSG works to collaborate with all students on campus, their goal is to align with all campus organizations through services and partnerships. There may be times that CUSG works to advocate for students on local and legal levels, against CUPD/HPD due to unjust accusations and arrest.

IDEAS:CUSG election cycles, monthly student body meetings, ability to host a collection of events such as food drives, parties, services, etc.
