The Pie Hole

BACKGROUND: Background: The Pie Hole is a Hathian Institution. It's a place for established citizens as well as newcomers to meet and mingle. Over the years it has been the setting of many great stories and I hope to continue that tradition. With the location it is ideal to pull the new players who aren't quite sure where to start into a scene by offering a free slice of the newest creation or a coupon. It would be great to work with other businesses to obtain supplies needed and generate some cross eatery events. Some ideas include a total revamp of the menu to bring in new pies, calzones and salads as well as some beer and wine choices. Offering discounts to fire, EMT and police. After all, can't live by donuts alone, right? Delivery options would be available, and I would look to the college or high school kids that might want to be employed for that. Of course, advertising and promotions as well as contests would take place. Would love to get with other restaurants for a Taste of the Town sort of event or a restaurant hop.

UNIQUE: Unique: The Pie Hole is long established and the only pizza place in Hathian. It is a safe, neutral space and will remain so as I want all to come in and be able to relax with some great food. While keeping traditional pie fare I plan to expand the menu to include more local pies.

EXPERIENCE:Experience: I have been involved in RP for over a decade in and out of SL. I have owned, managed and moderated sims and businesses in world. I love to plan and organize and work with people on the daily. My RL job allows me the flexibility to be fully engaged and present in the business.

IDEAS:With the location of the Pie Hole it is ideal to pull the new players who aren't quite sure where to start into a scene by offering a free slice of the newest pie creation, a coupon or even a job. With new employees, make sure to greet them with an IM and arrange an IC interview if they want that. I would encourage each to come up with their own signature pizza that we would add to the menu.

OTHER:I would do a slight revamp of the interior, a nice sign out front, some lighting around the fence to give it a little more curb appeal. I plan on recruiting employees over at CU then once staffed have a grand reopening to show new menu items with some contests such as pie eating.
