this is an extended Backstory for Draya, its a little wordy but i tend to get carried away when i start telling a story, hope you enjoy it if you managed to get though it all hehe

:::BACKSTORY:::

Draya was a strange kid when she was born, unlike most people she was born with a birth defect that meant her eyes are actually slit vertically, this lead to her nickname later in life of kitten, but only her dad called it her, he even got her a pair of cat ears on hair clips to match and she wore them everyday. She Grew up in a pretty good life in Dallas Texas, both her parents had good jobs and they never went short on anything, this lead her to grow up with a bit of an attitude, because no one could really touch her, any time anything happened Daddy would be there with money to pay off the issue, this got worse as she got older, at 16 her parents had enough and cut her off from the money, no longer helping her out of issues, forcing her to learn to deal with them on her own.

This lead to one of the darkest times in her life to date, after running her mouth off to one of the local gangs she ended up being kidnapped and used by the gang for many things, from simple fetching of items, to helping relieve stress, and not always consensually, it took her two years to pay off the 'debt' she had amassed by running her mouth so much, and over that time she did learn to keep it closed for the most part, she still has bouts of attitude if something rubs her the wrong way, but she was out and had gotten the lessons her parents wanted for her, just maybe not in the way they wanted. after she returned home after 2 years away with a new attitude and look on life they welcomed her back, although they asked many times where she had been she always kept it a secret, instead telling them she just went and lived with a friend for a time.

Now she was 18 she could look for the more serious jobs in life, and with her parents backing her the lack of any actual experience she had did not matter. she went though many jobs at first, sticking at some of them for only a single day before she quit, this ranged from working at a Bar, to even a strip club, grocery stores and even a garage, but nothing really worked for her, they all seemed mundane and below her, she may have lost the attitude she had but being born with basically a silver spoon in her mouth still had an effect on her. one of the longest jobs she had was just before her 19th Birthday, it was a Hair and Beauty salon, ironically by the name of kitty treats, she wasn't really interested in the job though, but one of the stylists, a young girl by the name of Sarah, she would eventually get close and Sarah became her first real relationship, but due to financial issues the Shop had to close, Draya had offered to help them out but it was refused on the grounds that if they couldn't stay afloat by income alone then it was always doomed to fail, this left Draya and Sarah jobless, but that was not an issue, Sarah moved in with Draya at her parents house, and everything was well for a time.

Just after Draya's 20th birthday her Dad offered her a job at his place of work, it was a large tech company that dealt with military contracts, supplying new tech and ideas, and dealing with research and development for both Civilian and Military alike, this is where her private home schooling seemed to pay off as she took to the job like a fish to water, she was in charge of one of the research wings, making sure that everyone did their job well, projects got done on time and sorting out what was good and bad to work on, having quite a technical mind anyway when it came to things she did well and was quickly earning enough money to easily support her and Sarah's lavish lifestyle.

on the cusp of her 21st a new person joined the team, a guy by the name of Jasper, he was hot, and funny, and Draya quickly fell in love with him, Sarah found him charming too but agreed that he was Draya's alone as she was happy with just her, this however did not stop them all having fun together, and for her 21st the planned a trip down to Miami for a few weeks, a nice trip for all 3 of them, but on the day of the trip Sarah got sick and had to stay home, but insisted they both go without her, reluctantly they agreed and set off in Draya's car on the long 19 hour trip.

The first week at Miami went amazingly, they had so much fun together, parties every night, beaches, drugs, and lots of sex, she Loved Sarah very luck but being with a guy was something else, and it was amazing, 2 days before they where due to leave though Draya went back to the hotel they had been staying at to find Jasper in bed with a random woman, this sent Draya into a spiral, although they may have been in a poly relationship together but the fact he did not talk to her about it and then tried to lie about it even after she walked in and saw them just made her distrust him, calling him a cheater, and storming out of the hotel with her stuff and jumping into her car and taking off at speeds she should not have been doing, heart broken she drove back home calling Sarah as she did, explaining everything that happened, this pissed off Sarah too, and they both took great delight in coming up with creative names for him, and once the news reached her farther he quickly had Jasper fired from the company.

Draya drove into the night and as she passed though Louisiana something went bang in her car and the entire thing came to a grinding halt, she tried the key many times but it just would not start, annoyed and upset she looked on the map and saw a small city just a mile behind her, thinking she could find some help there and maybe someone that knew why her car was broken she grabbed a few things from the car locked it up on the side of the road and headed off toward the city, it took her about twenty minuets to reach the outskirts and saw a sign for the city of Hathian...
