TYPE: Official Business

SLURL: Hathian sim (Battle Street)

BACKGROUND: I am a big comic and Magic the Gathering fan irl and I would like to bring some of that to Crack Den. My primary idea right now is to bring MTG games and tournaments to Hathian. I also would like to engage people in talking about the MCU and share enthusiasm about that.

UNIQUE: The number one thing I would do is start holding Magic the gathering tournaments on a regular basis using the free site Untap.in as the place to play the games. I would encourage people to come to the store to look for people to play individual games with. I would also like to add a screen to the shop to show MCU movies, perhaps even showing the whole series of movies and tv shows in sequential order. That is dependent on whether showing video is too much of a resource drain or not. These are just my main two ideas that I'm excited about. I also have other ideas simmering about making the store a target for petty theft and armed robbery but I have to work them out in more detail.

EXPERIENCE: I'm a teacher in real life and I have coached marshal arts so I have plenty of leadership and training experience. I love RP and have been playing RP games all of my life.

IDEAS: Comiquities will be a much more laid back place to RP. Our focus will be on gaming, comics, drugs and free form discussion about those topics. I also will try and hang out with anyone who works in the store when they are there as often as possible so they aren't lonely just parking their avi there without company.

OTHER: I don't plan on doing a re-opening. I'm just the new manager of an established business. I would start advertising Friday Night Magic in the Hathian Times and put up some MTG signs in the shop. I'd start talking up the gaming to anyone who will listen and get my staff to hand out fliers.
