BACKSTORY: Dr. Cayden De Luca is a Physician at Hathian General Hospital where he complies with the oath he has taken. However, certain events in his life have slowly taken him down a different path and while he continues to work at HGH and serve his patients in the most professional way he can, he is slipping slowly into what can only be described as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He has made many relationships with many people of the community, especially those with a criminal background. From preforming abortions in his garage to doctoring up the wounded off the books, he has gotten the reputation of dirty dealings. Because of this, he wants to open a free clinic which main purpose will be to provide free health care to the residents of the community. It will operate by donations from the community only, with limited federal assistance. The staff will all be volunteer of course. Some thinking they are doing a public service, others such as Cayden himself, working under the table for cash and supplying the criminals of Hathian with much needed medical care off the books. He hopes to build up his clientele of criminals who can afford to turn his clinic into a profitable business and place worthy of the community to visit if they do not want deal with the red tape and legality of other medical clinics.

UNIQUE: This will be the only medical clinic that will encourage and permit violence. HGH is a safe zone and from my understanding prohibits any sort of violence, which is great, especially for those who want the realism of hospital role-play. However, Hathian is comparable to a violent inner city, where clinics undergo displays of violence daily. There will be drug treatment programs, such as methadone disbursement, which will aid in promoting violence and robberies as well as patients undergoing abortions, another controversial subject. I promote the violence to both staff and patients, as well as from staff and patients, as long as everyone operating does so within the parameters of each player’s limits. Hopefully, it can become a place of employees seeking revenge on patients who have done them wrong, patients who are unstable attacking staff, people robbing the clinic, or trying to blow it up, drug users gone crazy for their next fix, moving in to attack staff or simply for where people in the community who need free assistance can come and receive treatment. The treatment could be the best or the worst, depending on the Doctor or Nurse they are seeing, which opens up many possibilities on creating storylines.

EXP:I have been in CD almost a year under this character, however have been involved in Role-play in general for five years. With my career I have the ability to be active and online to help if needed. I have relationships with both newer and older characters and players as well as good relationships with many of the current CD Leaders, who I have observed for quite some time now.

IDEAS:I plan on working with role-players of many different character backgrounds at the clinic. The professionals of the community, criminals, innocents, and all the individuals in between have the opportunity to come together at the clinic. The wonderful thing about a medical clinic is it opens up and offers role-play to everyone in the community and for those players and characters who are not as established; this is a good place to jump in feet first and get involved with a group. The clinic staff can be total screw ups or the best at what they do but regardless it leaves the individuals they are playing with, many different options to reacting. I do not mind talking and helping people new to role-play and feel an active business with active role-players will help newer role-players and will even encourage them to stay and become active members in the CD community.

OTHER:I want everyone to remember, the Clinic is a way of promoting dark medical role-play. HGH is a great place and I will still be a part of that role-play. But I want to offer the alternative and promote violence and bring a darker urban role-play as an option in a medical setting. It will be open to the public, therefore, others can react to what is happening around them. The possibilities of where a story can go are endless, especially with the variety of players being brought together in one place without following the rules of it being a safe zone. This is a great opportunity for criminals who want to keep their treatments off the books but need to see a Physician. They can possibly work out a payment arrangement under the table with a dirty doctor like Cayden. There will be medication available for those who need their prescription drug fix. This gives drug addicted characters and criminals the opportunity to actually steal their prescription drugs or try to purchase it from a dirty doctor for cash instead of NPC'ing the scene. The clinic will do everything to promote role-play with HGH by referring patients who need major surgeries or medical treatment, because they won't have the capabilities here. I also plan to work with some of the police force who Cayden is friendly with, dropping names of current patients who the PD may have a vested interest in, such as known criminals, or just people his police friends have issues with, and allowing them to stop in for a beat down. One thing I will point out is that any of the Doctors and Nursing staff will still be required to go through HGH first so they can be an approved part of the medical professionals who work at the clinic. The regular staff, such as clerical and secretarial will be regular staff of the clinic. The point is to promote role-play and bring characters together to create storylines.
