GROUP NAME: First Bank of Hathian

BACKSTORY: The First Bank of Hathian has come about after many disasters and after many people need somewhere more local to hide their scam and embezzlement money. Of course, the every day Joe and Jill are welcome to use the Banks services as well. My overall agenda as a Bank Owner/Manager in Hathian is to function mainly as a bank.This includes offering services such as: Savings Accounts - A card-less account accessible at the bank or via the internet. The fee for this is $3 per month or free if you deposit more than $500 per month. Debit Accounts - An account with all the usability of a credit card (buy online etc) except you will use your own money. The fee for this is $4 per month or free if you deposit more than $1000 per month. Credit Accounts - These are your basic Credit cards with three borrowing options: $2000 | $5000 | $10,000 all with the high high interest rate of 18% P.A (per annum/year) _________________ Other things will be loans: Car Loans - You can borrow up to $10,000 at an interest repayment of 13% P.A House Loans - We loan up to 100% of the house price, all loan amounts will have an interest rate of 11% and all loans between 90% and 100% of the borrowing price will be a compulsory secured loan. Meaning if you don't pay up, we come take away your fancy cars and TV's! Personal Loans - These have a 7% interest rate and you can borrow however much you want. _________________ There's a lot I've put into the thought of the bank Idea, despite my only being in Hathian a short time. The above is just an example, there are a few more things, such as how I'd keep peoples details and what not in an easy manner. For now that would simply be a NC system in a 'server' only available to staff. A NC per person with thier accounts and loans, how much has been paid off etc.

UNIQUE: The business would stand out simply because it can offer a whole new section of role play. There can be insurance fraud, bank accounts can be hacked and money stolen (all of course via pre RP planning). It also offers a normal area of RP for the people in Hathian who aren't dark and seedy. I'm also coming up with a small NC with pay rates for various jobs that other business runners in CD can use if they want so that people who do come to use the bank have an idea of what thier characters getting paid. So overall, I'm hoping my bank stands out because it offers a sense of normality but also gives an opportunity for new kinds of crime.

EXP:As a leader in CD, I would hope my organisation would help in my leader abilities. As well as my willingness to communicate with the fellow leaders and sim owners alike, in giving updates and asking for help should I need it.

IDEAS:Besides everything mentioned above I'd introduce a fluctuation to the interest rates, and have them advertised in order to bring in more customers to the business. I also think that the Bank could be a sponsor of other businesses, or events, such as a sponsor of the big bother/sister group as well as a donator to places like, the hospital, PD and fire/ambulance services.

OTHER:None that I can think of. I really just hope people like the idea and take to it. So, over to you Hathianites.
