Sanissa, or Sani as some call her, is a 15 year old girl who, although still naive at times, is learning quickly to grow out of that. She is shy often, but can also be outgoing and rambunctious. She is friendly, but weary and protective of those she feels need it. She builds strong bonds quickly, but can just as easily and without pain cut someone out of her life if it's warranted. She enjoys music, dancing, pizza, and cute fuzzy critters. She hates vegetables, chores, and homework (although she did well in school when she attended).

Her parents have been missing for years and now her younger brother, Severance, is missing as well. Sanissa had been on the move for weeks in search of her brother when she was told by another group of kids that a lot of runaways and kidnapped kids end up in Hathian so she made her way to the city to continue her search.
