GROUP NAME: The Asylum

TYPE: Bar/Club

BACKSTORY: The Asylum is a bar located in Devil's Pocket. It is housed in a building that was formerly a... bakery! No, really, it was an asylum. There are multiple levels to how the business will run. First and foremost as a bar and club. Secondly it will feature gambling and a betting system for sports events and other forms of betting. Thirdly it will house a fight club, one that is usually kept to polite fighting but there will be events and some nights where fights of a riskier nature will be allowed. Obviously, to avoid legal issues, that won't be all the time.

UNIQUE: We will aim to appeal to the underground side of things within the city by allowing the gambling and the fight nights. This could be a draw to gangs within the city or to other people on the wrong side of the law.

EXP:I have been roleplaying in CD for two and a half years so that gives me a good draw of experience within the community. I am around on a daily basis and regularly draw upon the other players that are participating in the storyline behind the club to help make this their project as well because ownership in the concept helps make people want to be involved.

IDEAS:The group behind the Asylum is working on ideas and events centered mainly around fight night and the betting system for it. We want to do something fresh and new, add a spark, but I can't give too much away without spoiling some of our upcoming plots. *winks*

OTHER:A business that looks legitimate with a corrupt core is suitable for a town as run down and morally decrepit as Hathian.
