I know this has been spoken about (not sure how much at length) but last I read about this is that that there was a trick to getting it to send you a notification. I've tried adding a period into my gmail account, I've tried using other email addresses but still haven't gotten one.

This is after probably three months of actively being a part of the community. If there's someone out there that has a solution I ask you kindly to post in and tell me how not to be a dummy (since I'm obviously not getting anywhere).
