BACKGROUND:

Slim Goodies diner is an underutilized space, ICly Dove has come into money and as the diner holds many happy memories for her she plans to purchase it as it ties in nicely to her lifestyle currently.

[THE LIGHT]
- New menu - Designed and dedicated not only to the south, but to CD/Hathain as well, as Dove is actually an excellent cook the food would greatly improve and the difference would be noticed! More vegetarian options would be added.
- Event space - Hire it for a get together; birthdays, celebrations or commiserations
- Catering Service - Available for any events or business needs
- Works in tandem with other businesses - Opportunity for Berthier Bakery to supply cakes, the Slab to supply meat etc etc
- Free coffee - Available before/after shifts with free (amazingly new & decent) coffee for HPD, HGH & FDH employees
- Charity Focus - Homeless will be fed for free at Slim Goodies, customers can “pay it forward” and donate meals & coffees on their bill for the needy.

This space will be available to rent for events and work in conjunction with other businesses when events are on; my goal is to hold a bi-monthly picnic & BBQ’s in the outdoor space to raise money for charity - which will rotate which charity we support.

The charity aspect will hopefully attract the new drifter players giving them a place to go, a great place on the main sim for ‘societies undesirables’ to spend their time

[THE DARK]
Due to Doves criminal past she will also see opportunities to make the most of the space; I would encourage gangs, criminals & dealers alike approach and see if there is a way the business can aid in (but not limited too)

- Money laundering
- Dealing
- Informant services
- Catering service utilised for dark purposes (Poisoning, drug dealing etc etc)
- Long terms plots to include credit card skimming, identity theft & mass poisoning
+ any other dark possible plot lines.

[TIMEZONE & STAFFING]
Despite my timezone, I can still make this business work as it doesn’t attract 1 type of player - So this will broaden up the customers I can roleplay with as anyone can come to Slims!

As the ‘Night’ manager - I plan to be available for our Euro & Australasia players (1:30am SLT - 5am SLT) a few times a week & at other sporadic hours on weekends to try capture more players.

I will also be recruiting a day time manager to help me run the business (when I can find one!) for the hours & hiring of when I am not available as we will need a complete overhaul of staff.
We will be hiring teens for nearly all positions also.

[DESIGN]
I plan to reinvent the diner with new artwork and use what prims I can to refresh it, in addition to that will be creating either t-shirts or a 50’s uniform to match the diner decor.

UNIQUE: As there isn't many other eateries, this will be a great place for dates, meet ups & business deals! There isn't a huge need to stand out from others, as I want it to be a natural meeting ground for everyone! All welcome!

EXPERIENCE: I have been RPing in CD for 12 years off & on. It is always the sim i prefer to be in & dedicate as much time as I can to the sim, i am looking for direction & something I can really sink my teeth into & this is something that I believe I can make great.

IDEAS: I will heavily be using group notices, twitter and inworld chat groups like email/text communication between staff. I would like the staff at Slims to be more of a community, family, group of friends so, despite myself not always being able to be inworld when everyone else is, I am great at keeping connected through other mediums.

OTHER: Ideally if I can make it work with my RL availability I would like to hold a Pre-Thanksgiving Grill out to reopen the diner!
