BACKGROUND: The Heretic is changing. Gone are the days of fine dining in a slightly shady atmosphere, replaced with a BDSM club and what can only be described as a completely, utterly shady atmosphere. Do you feel like you are too happy in your job? Is your boss too nice to you? Are your co-workers unwilling to stab you in the back? Do you not witness daily abuse, sexual harassment, blackmail or violence at your workplace? Fear not! We have a solution for you! The Heretic Bondage Club is a shady establishment, the focus being on dark roleplay. It is the antonym of safe sane and consensual, while doing its best to charade as a respectable fetish venue. This is not to say there is no staff that choose to work at the Heretic. Many do. But there are staff that are being blackmailed to work there, and those who are victims of modern slavery. It is a hedonistic den of debauchery, crime, abuse and even rape. We intend for the Heretic to be gritty, controversial. Non consenting staff and even audience participation is commonplace. Even vulnerable clients can be targeted for abuse. If there is a wrong way to conduct BDSM, the Heretic is the embodiment of exactly that. The heretic also aims to be lewd and highly erotic, not shying away from explicit sexual content, humiliation and violent BDSM, but rather gratuitous with it. The Heretic is an inclusive club in that it approved clientele of any fetish and orientation. However there's a certain misogynist, maledom air about the club thanks to the misogynistic owner of the joint. This means that everyone is welcome to Roleplay their kinks, be it femdom, maledom, gay or straight, but the IC atmosphere is absolutely geared toward male dominance and female submission. While the description of the club is accurate from the IC perspective, it doesn't mean everything has to adhere to it. We are more than happy to accommodate safe sane and consensual IC interactions, it is your roleplay and there's no expectation for every roleplay at heretic to be dark. After all, from the OOC perspective this is all very much safe sane and consensual. We want the Heretic to be a hotbed of dark RP and criminal activity. If the staff are going to turn a blind eye to a client raping another client, or a staff member, then they are going to turn a blind eye to a drug deal too. Non criminal activity in the Heretic mainly exists to mask the criminal elements. The Heretic is also able to offer services such as holding kidnap victims for kidnappers at a cost. Or otherwise storing modern slavery victims for other people. For the person who wishes to work at the heretic, there will be different ways of entering employment: Consensual, which means your character wants to work in the bondage club. Your character can still be abused within your OOC limits. Blackmail: The Heretic management has something to blackmail your character with… This can happen naturally in a storyline, or you can contact us to pursue this storyline by default. This would be inherently more abusive than consensual employment. Forced Slavery: This would be kidnap victims, victims of human trafficking, forced to do whatever the management wishes under threat of violence or even death. The Heretic has a basement level, a VIP area, a hedonistic venue for the dominant male and the woman who accepts her place before such a man. It’s for those who believe the natural order is for the man to reign over her woman to freely be themselves and socialize with others of the same mindset. The basement also hosts events, though these are almost exclusively hedonistic and of sexual nature in one way or another. The Heretic VIP Venue operates with assumed consent, the women who are in there, are assumed to have consented to whatever happens to them there, even if they were dragged in kicking and screaming. Note: The VIP club is about a very specific kink, the rest of the club is still available for everything!
