The Set

BACKGROUND: The Set was born of misfits. Unable to find a place to fit in, they banded together to form a tight, loyal group down for whatever and whenever. The Set is a classic "street gang", meaning we are down to to what needs to be done, no hesitation gimmicks or pause. We are violent, fearless and unafraid at all times. The source of funds for the group is varied. Trixie's funds come from the club and assorted drug deals, Angels funds come from international counterfeiting, and Dros funds come from Hathian, i.e., he steals them. All faction members are quick to take action based on what they believe to be "right", and there is a code. Set members don't rape, or harm children. The Set will kidnap, kill and beat and steal. There arent really street names, all of us are known by our actual names, and we tend to keep reference to our gang secretive, referring to each other as "partners" or "friends" , etc.

 

UNIQUE: There arent any available, but Trixie's is co owned IC by Angel and Trixie and has long been used as a sort of "front" to cover up the illegal activities the group is involved in. The RP is varied that can be expected but as Trixie's is a strip/slut club, there is usually a dancer around to be watched, or harrassed. Trixie is often in the club as well as Angel and deals are made there as well as others using the club as a meeting spot as it is out of the way in Vodou. Upstairs are sex rooms, offices and possibly a place to hold people.. captive.

 

FLAW: Too quick to take action, resulting in mistakes as far as stepping on the wrong toes, and pissing people off. Also The Set is new, just starting out, so is isolated, small and also heartily disliked. That fact makes it hard to make alliances as well as deals, and makes them a target all of the time. The Set is basically intelligent hood folks who are just trying to make it, and that is reflected in the lack of current assets and support in the community.

 

POTENTIAL ENEMY: The OSMC, Black Mambas, as well as the Rejects and the Twister are places and group The Set has either collaborated with or is vetting as enemies.

 

EXPERIENCE:I am a business owner in CD and have been for a year, and also am an HR representative, so policy and coaching are my actual job. I have been involved in a gang in CD in the past, Reapers, and was always able to work with leadership and understand that the sim needs are above my own.

 

IDEAS:I am always doing RP with people I dont know. They may not create stories,but it allows Trixie to meet a lot of people. The club is a way as well, always needing employees so I hustle for those. And there will be a process to prove loyalty to become a Set member and wear the red flag.
