----Observer inviter or Me job invitation issue----

/me clicks Now Hiring sign in front of Observer, then clicks "Reporter" option.

[05:40] Observer Employment: An invitation to the  group has been dispatched and should arrive shortly! If the group invitation does not come through, there must be issues with SL... just try again later.

Now take that quote and stretch it out over 4 or 5 days now, multiple times a day, all over various hours of the day.

Initially others were complaining on OOC chat, so I figured it wasn't working. Then somebody, in front on my own eyes, uses a for hire sign for the Pie Hole and it works fine, she got the tag for the pizzeria right then and there. I immediately tried again for the Observer... see quote above. It still does not work. I am a tagged citizen, I have a HUD, I obviously have a forum account. I don't have anything from CD on my muted or blocked lists. I'm at my wits end.

I've also had another friend recently able to get an invite for a citizen tag. That invitation came through. Although the Observer invitation to him also didn't go through just now.

A few things...

1. "WordPress 4.9.4 is available! Please notify the site administrator."

2. "Twitter Tools relies on the Social plugin, please install this plugin."

3. Yesterday I tired to make a post of images from the Carnival, when I then tried to preview it it gave me a gallery of every image that was uploaded to wordpress for the news site. What am I doing wrong here?

4. Can we have non Gravatar based profile images on the news site, just one's we upload?

 

---Forum Suggestion---

I was thinking of  doing RP on the forum but when I was creating my introduction thread it struck me that not only can't you preview, you can't even edit your own posts. I mean I don't mind not being able to edit, but I'd like to see how it will look before committing. Or, if I can't preview my post allow me to edit it. As of right now I'm not really confident in how a post will look to post much in the forum.

 

---Misc----

There is a mailbox for the Observer on the building labeled "Crime Beat & Requests" it is click/touch-able, but then does nothing. What's the deal with that?
