The course aims to give students tools to critically – and therefore, philosophically – analyze the concepts of ‘being social’ of the human being, raising questions about whether the human being is fundamentally social or not, and how the human being deals or has dealt in history with the concepts of values, truth, justice, democracy, liberalism and liberty, from the Greek society to the times of Google and Facebook.
