Gein Burger

BACKGROUND: Helena has kind of drifted around a little bit since she moved to Hathian. First she worked at Rader Records, but kind of shied away from it after she was robbed on the job. After that, she kind of stalled out, going back to her old ways to make a living. Now, she is a cop, and has been so for about a month and a half. But, the Gein? She feels that just might be her true calling. She has eaten there almost daily since her first day in Hathian, loving both the food and atmosphere. She would definitely want to keep the atmosphere going. To her, it is friendly and pretty much a safe haven where everyone can go to eat. Especially with where it is, being a hub for everyone coming into the city, new players and old alike. I would really like to keep it open to all. Helena is very much a bleeding heart and very friendly with almost everyone she meets. So, she would be willing to work with any and all buisnesses around Hathian in some way to get different events thrown together. Personally, she would be wanting to hold food drives and possibly even days where food is free or discounted, just so everyone has a chance at a meal. I have some ideas in mind for employees, besides servers, cooks, etc, to hand out fliers on different promotional events and just general events happening at the Gein. This would also give a chance for the food drives and discounted meals to be advertised and have the word spread. I am sure that more will come as things get put in place if this goes well. Helena would also like to revamp the menu a little bit. Not really get rid of anything, but just add some more options and what not. Maybe even have an event or contest later where the people of Hathian can create a burger or their choice and they can be voted on, the winner being added to the menu with their name of choosing.

 

UNIQUE: Of course, as said before, she is a cop. Though, Gein would be her higher priority, as I am sure that she would spend a lot of her off duty time there. Also, with that said, while she would try to stay nuetral in the whole thing between cops and criminals, she would lean towards criminals. It really is a central area for players, with it being situated in a main part of the city, so I would like to take that into account. I would not want to push anyone away, welcoming all kinds of players and RP. This even goes for vandalism for the business. I'd like to keep the standard rule of anything huge being run by me, but would also welcome anything else. Wanna smash out a window? Go ahead! Employee working and you want to rob the place? Go ahead! I would just like a notecard on any destruction and what not, so it could be properly RP'd out.

 

EXPERIENCE:I have been role playing for almost 12 years now. So, this is not my first rodeo as far as RP is concerned. I have run groups and helped admins on other sims(Not CD) and even ran the pawn shop for awhile in CD on another character(kianaqwuil), before real life got the better of me and I had to leave to tend to it.

 

IDEAS:As said before, I have ideas to get employees, Helena included, out and about with handing out fliers and coupons. That RP alone could hit a whole range of people, new and old, to RP with, trying to get them to come to the Gein. Of course, there would be other events. I would plan to touch base with all of the employees of the business and keep that going even with the new employees. I would like to get to know them IC and OOC and would listen to any suggestions given for events and storylines.

 

OTHER:I have thought about this quite a bit and what better way to re-open the place than to have an eating contest? I'd like it to be a whole party at the Gein, other events, businesses, and such included, but I think an eating contest would be a good event to include, with other samples of everything else around. It would give people a way to meet the owner, employees, and even try the food. Could even unveil the burger contest at the re-opening!
