After some fleshing out of stories and talking with people I wanted to share the vision behind Evil Angel Media as a Medium for roleplay storylines and for building out characters.

Backstory: Anjel "Darkness" Ceriano's life is well documented in the City Life blogs, an ex-con, abused as a child grew to be a disassociated womanizing power freak, manipulating and using people from his teens. He did hard time, got out, tried to change, slipped, tried again, and has now settled back, an older wiser version of himself in his teen years. Using some contacts from his time producing in LA, he leveraged the money and equipment to attempt to exploit the neediness of the disaffected people of Hathian and produce cheap, quick, and adventurous types of adult media that runs the gamut of peoples tastes.

Philosophy on play: The media company is a backdrop for play and can be as in the fore or background as players wish it to be. I have an open door policy. This is not simply an excuse for sexposes and fucking, I wanted it to be a conduit to advance the stories of strippers, prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers, students on campus, teachers on campus, cops, etc etc. Whether interested in being a starlet, needing a place to launder money, etc etc. Your story is your story, I look forward to seeing you use the space as your canvas, just let me know what the plan is so I can provide continuity and we can be on the same page. I won't ever break to gang affiliation, though if it gets torched and Anjel dies because of that, I'm willing to play it out if its an arc and I have notice.

I would also like to add that actual sex play for "talent" doesn't necessarily have to happen. if you want to play your character as a porn star and not fuck anyone in game, fantastic, its a storyline, and the associations around that can be played out. I don't believe in scening for the sake of scening, and sometimes having that background is what is adding to your play. (i.e. you don't have to set up an all night film session to play as if you had one for the sake of the metaphor of spiraling out of control or feeling victimized or afraid or whatever). Likewise goes for producers and directors. That being said, for those that are jonesing, I have a skybox set up to allow play that will rotate the "scene" periodically, for the landmark, get signed on in whatever capacity and you will have access.

Current threads floating:
- A few disaffected prostitutes have started taking some classes in self defense and training. Anjel is trying to keep them out of the drugs, eventually they'd like to start a bodyguard/escort service, where the beautiful dame on your arm in Hathian is also willing to protect you. Add extra muscle to your next encounter to the highest bidder kind of thing.
- Some rumors about professors doing photography for the company....
- The word on the street its a great place to score most drugs....
- Somehow Anjel always seems to KNOW when people have been there, and there are whispers that people have seen video of themselves on different porn sights, floating on the internet. candid shots of showers or innocent teases on the pool, like the house is always watching (or lined with cameras)
