ellis-milletsaidI've been hearing complaints from people pertaining getting RP. They're getting ignored or people are dropping plotlines. It's concerning to me to hear about this. I certainly will RP with anyone!! I personally find that many RPs that started off as something random and seemingly insignificant turn into a twisting whirl of craziness that is awesome and fun! Now, we have heard from Blue on how to initiate RP (http://thecrackden.com/discuss/topic/how-to-initiate-rp-a-guide-for-beginners-and-veterans/) and Valmont's thread on ideas for plots (http://thecrackden.com/discuss/topic/character-storyline-ideas/ ). Both threads an essential read if you have not already. MY challenge to all of you is to approach at least THREE people you do not know per week. Whether they are new or RPers that have been here forever. Use the other guides given and approach. If they don't answer, IM them and ask if they are there. They may be watching porn while waiting for someone to approach. If they still don't answer, assume their keyboard is too sticky to type and go on to the next until you have rped with at least three people per day. Don't just stand around, approach! I know that it can be scary and nerve-wracking to approach others but you can do it! Read the links to the guides above! Have fun with it! I do try to approach new people when I can but I will be making an extra effort to do so to promote the spread of RP! We are a community and everyone should feel welcome here! I want to encourage everyone to do this challenge and see what a difference it makes!
