A really OOC/OOSL question for this topic!

Going away next week for some holidays and looking for some good books to bring with me. Any suggestions? Thought, considering we all love to write so much, we likely have a lot of avid readers around 😀
I like all kind of books but I do have a fondness for intense thriller/horror stories or darker themed ones. However, so long as the story grips me, I'll read pretty much anything!

And since I can't ask something without giving in return, here is my recommendation:
Filth by Irvine Welsh
The story of a corrupt, coke addict cop. It really grips you and takes you into the odd world of this damaged person. Some pretty good roleplay fodder for people looking into playing addicts too!
