Amai moved to Hathian when her mother's job got them transferred here. Being 10 she didn't have much of a choice, she hated Hathian as soon as they moved and begged her mother to move back to California. They had moved 4 times since she was born and she loved California the best. Her father was a military police officer who was killed in combat last year.

Since moving to the city the young blond haired girl lost her mother, she still to the day has no idea what happened to her anyone she asks just refers her to a social worker. She was fostered for some time by a lady over at the college but she disappeared on the girl too. After wandering the streets for a few days Mel and Tre found her, fed her and gave her a place to live.

Amai wants to have a family again, of course she wants a new daddy who is a police officer just like her hero daddy.

Amai has ADHD so she is easily distracted but she is very smart, she is anemic as well so she is often seen wearing a jacket or unseasonal clothes cause she is cold.
