Name: Aiko Kimagawa
Age: 18
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Unknown, changes often with contacts when glasses aren't worn
Sexual orientation: Confused
Occupation: CU student

Known Background: Aiko speaks very little of her background. Whenever anyone asks, she tries to change the subject. A lone admissions clerk noticed her scholarship was from a program for foster kids, a special fund for orphans, and that several pieces of paperwork had typos, listing her as 'Ike' instead of Aiko.
Aiko is shy and timid, staying away from the crowds, but always dressing so nice, as if trying to fit in with the in-crowd.

Unknown History: Aiko's parents, both Japanese, met each other in Japan, while her dad worked at the US embassy in Tokyo. Shortly after they were married, they returned to his home in the States with their new baby boy Ike. Just months later, there was a car crash. Aiko never knew the details, just that she would never see her birth parents again.
Ike was bounced around in foster care, never having a steady home until he was 9. Ike was taken into a home with 4 foster sisters. Not really a stable home, but finally staying with a family for more than 2 years at a time. Growing up in a house full of sisters, with no positive male influence, his feminine side flourished. He soon started sneaking clothes from his sisters. When dressed up, he would sneak out and head to raves, calling himself Aiko. Finding an accepting atmosphere, he tried to sneak out every weekend to party with his new friends.
As soon as he turned 18, he moved out of the foster house, and in with friends. He finished high school, and with a special scholarship fund, moved to the first college that accepted him. How he wishes now that he had been more careful with his choice.

Current Life: Yes, Aiko was once Ike, but wishing to leave his abusive and tragic life behind, changed. Aiko applied at CU, not as Ike, and was accepted. She tends to be shy, trying not to attract attention, not wanting anyone to learn of her secret. She dresses as pretty and girlie as she can. With the help of her foster sister, she learned well, so far easily fooling anyone she has met. She tries her best to fool everyone, remembering what happened a few times she wasn't careful and was found out.
She wanders into Hathian often, looking for part time work, exploring the city, and looking for new friends. She sees so many cute guys in town, and just as many cute girls. Aiko is still attracted to both sexes, but is shy to show it. Aiko tries to be friendly with anyone that is nice to her. She doesn't know the dangers of this new city yet, but will learn quickly.

Out Of Character: Yes, I am a boy in girls clothes. I know many will not like me, and I accept that. If I get the cold shoulder from someone, I understand. Because of my uniqueness, I am often shy to start conversations with strangers. But once I make friends, I can be lots of fun. A simple wave will make me feel welcome and accepted.
I hope my secret remains a secret, that people I meet don't notice how I am different, and accept me as just another girl on campus.
