So over the past week or so, the company which hosts the CD site had a major server upgrade. During this time, we saw some downtime as well as issues with the website itself afterwards. This is because the scripting engine which runs most of the site was updated to the latest version and some of server setting files which were setup became obsolete, thus breaking the site!
I fixed those, then went through and updated the site. I think we'll be at a stable point going forward.
I'm also evaluating to see what is used and not used on the site and making necessary adjustments. I am sort of leaning away from the wiki in hopes to make use of more visual friendly ways of displaying fairly static info (ie. http://live.thecrackden.com ).
Another big piece of web that I'd like to incorporate is the ability to see interesting stats on characters and groups; essentially, you should be able to associate your forum ID to an avatar and be able to easily see their history/stats in CD. We will also be adding a police blotter that would replace the forum one we're using. It will be a month or two before we see something come to fruition, but until then, I'm totally open to hearing your ideas and feedback!
We've had a lot of changes in the past year since I rolled out the last version (very active on flickr, twitter, etc.) ... and it makes sense now to see what is the best way to integrate it all together.
Let me know what parts of the website you find most useful.
