Hey there, I'm new to town/college and wanted to give a little RP background in the intro thread here.

Name: Xiu Tao
Age: 19
University status: Freshman

[ Char Bio ] Xiu Tao is a girl from a family with a little bit of spare cash. She lived with her single Mother, a very superstitious Mandarin prostitute who worked in an established "Massage Parlor". It was a well known fact in the community what her Mother was up to, especially since the other women working there, of mixed Asian decent, helped to raise her when her Mother was unable. [due to a drunken stupor mostly]

Xiu herself was a mediocre student in high school, staying mostly out of trouble, and in a group with the other illegitimate kids of the hookers. Her biggest weakness was taking speed pills to stay awake and alert. A string of her Mother's loser boyfriends, pimps, and 'regulars' always had their eye on her as a teen, so she rarely slept.

Going to college, away from the 'family business' had always been her dream, and her Mother finally did something right by saving up for admissions to a University, no matter how cheap. She's a bit crude, doesn't like other girls much, and finds most men repulsive.

Hopes for her college career: Find a suitable boyfriend, find a new place to live, get a degree so she doesn't end up working alongside her Mother. [side note: wants to find out if her father is alive, since her Mother had her in Hathian before moving away]
