So, we just had a prominent CU student do jail time IC, a storyline where CUPD busted Buffy for offering microdoses of drugs in drug education class. An example set to students about illegal drugs on campus. (Not counting marijuana which is legal in Hathian).

Hey Nicky, one idea I would have is try and organize some casual DEA social meetups right after scheduled classes. It’s a good opportunity to catch active players – when classes are finished and people are heading out, could invite people to go for coffee/beers or whatever.

Always thought this was a great opportunity for a new store for some RP. Every character can end up having issues with their phone and that can lead to some RP here. Also laptop repairs, screen damage, all that stuff. Plenty of opportunity for the shady side of things too.

I’m a big fan of making players aware of things like non-verbal cues that can translate those thoughts into actions that another character can respond to IC.

Kudos to the villain/asshole/criminal characters who have the skills to let things develop with taunting and threatening RP without bringing the violence straight off. Better off getting 5 scenes with the hint of menace building up and ongoing drama than just one quickie fight scene.
(Kind of like ERP when you come to think of it 🙂
