I am really excited to see the clinic used to create more active roleplay. BW doesn’t have the same traffic as CD at times, so it is crucial for leads to take initiative to promote rp outside of just their individual storylines. I absolutely love the ideas and trying to make more use of a space that is undervalued. I’ve also have known Kaidn for years, one of the original people who made CD fun for me at the beginning of my time here. Fantastic roleplayer and great at drawing people in. I completely agree that one scene shouldn’t be the reference point for all gun issues. But I do think that it’s more that it’s the most recent scene and so the one on people’s minds at the moment. I’m not sure I agree with calling the community softer just because they are asking for guns not to be abused. I’ve been in the community for years and I have no fear of the gritty rps. I would settle for a rule that said that unless you’re HPD entering a scene after an active call, there should be two rounds before drawing a gun. HPD show up to scenes and wait two rounds to post in unless given permission to enter sooner.
