Yes, in the United States they are a branch of the military, Emily, lol. We’ve got Army (National Gaurd), Navy, Marine, Airforce, and then Coast Guard. The National Gaurd and the Coast Gaurd as states. They gaurd and are mainly a localized form of military, seeing to our interenal issues first and foremost.

I don’t understand where the idea of “Civilian Coast Gaurd” is coming into play. In the United States, the Coast Guard is one of the five branches of the military, working with Homeland security. I would imagine the idea of treason would be something rather internal in the gang than external. So the idea of attacking them for treason wouldn’t nesscarily be common knowledge IC. No more so than any other gang attacking one of their own for betraying them. The whole idea of “blood in, blood out”.
I must say this is an idea that I am looking forward to. My alt has already had contact with one of the people involved and from it has started what has proven (and will prove to be) a very interesting and engaging role play. As such I am all for the idea of this group continuing.

It seems to me far too many people are equating gun use with death. Guns=/=Death Limit Breech. The very idea that if a gun comes into play it’s to kill someone is a huge problem in and of its self.
