Recently from Nashville but orginally from Hathian. After getting busted in high school, was sent to live with his well to do grandparents. It was good for him. He graduated from MTSU with a degree in Criminal Justice and he started a decent career in law enforcement. He decided to parlay his experience and education into becoming a PI. His work put him in an environment where he formed some bad habits. He was engaged to a nightclub performer but she broke it off, recently her daughter, Sara, came up missing and she turned to Shane for help. His investigation became a bit of a homecoming because it brought him back to Hathian.
