This is a late response since I actually read this proposal the day it was posted into this thread, but I can certainly say I do not see any errors here — this is something that I really wish I had thought of when I was still actively playing on sim with my main character!

I personally don’t think there is any purpose to creating a separate “category” for alts of this sort, since a lot of these already exist. Take me for example — everyone knows I have a crap ton of alts. One of which is in the HPD. If someone sent me an IM and said “Hey, I need a cop for this scene!” I would gladly sign onto him and respond.
