Please put your case notes on each child in here, as you meet with or counsel the children, this will enable all of us to stay on the same page with how a teen is reacting to the counseling and go back in their history to see what we are missing if they are repeat occurances. Case history won't change much on the kids, but our notes and such of each session and any headway we make will. We have full histories on Roxy and Rabid, I'll see about getting the others.

EXAMPLE

Case File - Roxy Kabila - Age 14

Date of Session:

Person Conducting session: Tre Marjeta

Case History:

-Roxy is a teen full of anger and missguided confusion. Unlike most teens, she doesn't rebel against authority or those that threaten her. Her trigger is kindness.

From a young age, Roxy was bounced from foster home to home, never wanted in one place as a permenant home for her, never quite good enough for anyone to look at as her daughter. Because of this, the teen devolped trust issues very young. She found it hard to believe a person when they started telling her that they did in fact want her in their home. Still, she would open up after continued repeats only to once again be sent away from small glitch in her personality or appearance. So from a very young age, she learned to find distrust in words of kindness and promises of good things and love.

This personality devlopment only lead the teen down a darker path, finding herself now on the brink of teenhood at 12. The darker patterns in her distrust took over. When couples came to speak with her and meet her for the possibilty of fostering and/or adoption and spoke kind words to her about "wanting her to be a part of their family" she dissmissed the idea right away. This caused the only ones to take her in to be the families of nightmares.

It always started the same. Claims of want, sometimes even premature love but once at home, the beatings began. The yound Roxy was thrown into a system that wanted nothing more then to watch the girl crumble away into nothing.

Because of this, Roxy grew a grave distrust towards any form of kindness, viewing it as nothing more then smoke and mirrors. True love had never been offered to her, only used as blinder. As a teen it enforced the idea upon her that kindness did not exist. The only thing out there that didn't change, that always remained constant was hate, anger, violence, and pain. In some way, these were the only things in her life that she could depend on as they were the only things she always knew would not be hidden. She could see the truth in them, and because it was the only thing she felt was trying to fool her, she's become almost desperate to keep this level on consitancy in her life.

This left the only things and ways Roxy knew how to react truthfully was anger and pain, be it her own or someone elses. She can easily handle and react to someone throwing this her way. But when offered kindness, the girl balks, seeing it as nothing more then yet another lie in a long line of them. Because of this she tends to throw anger and pain back in a response to someone showing her compassion. Her own mind, unable to grasp that such a thing as true compassion exists, becomes desperate to destory that variable and reduce it to the constant she knows and can handle. Often times this has resulted in painful endings for the girl, but even the pain is more welcome to her then unfiltered kindness. She will often take what is a good situation and try and force it into wreckage rather then believe that it can end well and only be fooled again.
