Guys this is just in the concept stages but I'm putting a post here and in the high school thread to test the waters for interest.
The students over a Columtreal hold a regular social event every saturday and, with the recent (albeit stilted) introduction of the peer-mentor/big brother/sister program we were thinking of holding a picnic on Seaside campus. The event would be alchohol free and all Seaside students and faculty as well as Columtreal students and faculty would be invited.
Clearly this could turn out be good fun and would give the peer mentors amongst us an opportunity to introduct themselves to the younger students and start building positive relationships!
