Youth Group | Crack Den Roleplay
http://thecrackden.com
Is your character interested in playing as a child? If so then you will need to apply for the CD Youth group. This group is for Characters under the age of 18. Characters in this group would need to play within the guidelines set up and ABOLUTELY NO SEXUAL AGEPLAY IS ALLOWED. Youth characters are to be out of chat range of any sexual scene, stay out of rooms that exist for sexual purposes (i.e. top floor of TT or RnT) and never use sexual pose balls.
Violence will be extremely limited depending on group and there is to be absolutely no graphic or extreme violence.
It is also the responsibility of all members in a roleplay to control the level of violence. If someone starts hacking at a child with a machete the child roleplayer needs to stop the action or the roleplay if necessary.
Kids between the ages of 5 - 18 are expected to be registered with the Hathain School District. There is Callum Mondegreen Elementary for kids 5 - 12 and JR Pessoa High School for youth 13 - 18. Even if you are unable to attend classes at this time you should be registered. Later it is anticipated that more classes will be scheduled to accommodate different schedules.
Before applying, please make sure you’ve read the “CD Guide to Roleplay” + “Crack Den Rules” on our website [ http://wiki.thecrackden.com ].
CD YOUTH ROLES
Toddler group 5 and under - should always be with a parent, guardian or babysitter. This group would be very limited in there violence. In no way should they be attacking adults other than maybe in a temper tantrum way. Kids in the younger part of this age group could speak in baby talk using very imaginative thinking and have fantasy driven beliefs around the things they see in the den.
[ Kids ] Age 6-9: Might start going out on there own but realistically by night time hours should be accompanied by a responsible adult or babysitter. If a kid was attacked or saw there loved ones attacked they could chose to maybe lash out at the attacker. Kids would be limited to using sticks, stones, sports equipment, a board etc for weapons. Kids could get hit by adults realistically but nothing extreme. Also at this age if there were legal issues it would be probable that while police could detain kids their parents or guardians would be called to pick them up and deal with the matter.
[ Tweens ] Age 10 - 12: This group would not be as supervised. They could be running the streets at all hours causing all kind of trouble that would run the gambit from putting out burning bags of feces for local social workers to crimes such as pick pocketing, shoplifting, etc. Now this age if they were showing a pattern of criminal behavior might be introduced to the juvenile justice system.
[ Teens ] 13 - 17: They could be wild or tame. In groups they might be a dangerous force. Some teens at 16 are as big as an adult allot are smaller. Therefore, this group has some ability for movement. As far as crime and violence they could be getting involved with most all of it{Except anything sexual}. Weapons like small blades maybe nun chucks would be feasible along with the others that kids have. Consequences could range from the juvenile justice system to being bumped up to adult court.
Specialized Roles -
Disturbed Kids and Troubled Teen Roles - These will be 2 highly moderated groups for experienced roleplayers that feel their characters that have social, mental, and/or behavioral issues. This group{'s} will be the ones who are likely to lash out and pick fights. These could be the kids that would be banging and therefore have more opportunity to access weapons [other than firearms at this point]. Consequences for there behavior would be in both the juvenile and adult justice system but also like in real life violence begets violence. Citizens, police, store clerks etc.. might take it into there hands to use appropriate and realistic violence against a child in this age category.
Disturbed Kid 8 - 12 - There may be a variety of reasons your character would fall in this group. Please make sure your back story supports an elevated violence level. This could include but not be limited to; being a child of abuse, being born addicted or FAS; being exposed to extensive levels of violence, living in a home with domestic abuse, having extreme ADHD etc. This group would need to be realistic with there portrayal of disturbed children and have an extensive proven roleplay ability. This seriously could be the most controversial group in CD so if you apply and receive it PLEASE understand that with it comes great responsibility.
Troubled Teen 13-17 - This group would be very much like the disturbed kids roll except for the age. With the age the possibility of more crime [Nothing Sexual] and more damage would be possible. Also don't be surprised when the community demands to see you little monsters tried as an adult.
Once again, and this is so important, playing in the den, as any character is a privilege. Especially, within the controversial kids group. Therefore, It is of utmost importance that any scenes you engage in stay clearly within the descriptions and rules that are being set and
NO SEXUAL AGEPLAY - Nothing alluding to it, no being close to it, no listening to it. Nothing as a child.
