Anonymous Thanks to the Board the hospital has had some updates. The old beds are gone, and have been replaced by five, yes five new beds that are fully automated, no more laying prone all day. Now the nurses can help you up for sponge baths and back rubs. Also more security has been added in the form of cameras thought the building inside and out. Also there have been added security doors off the lobby. Our Obstetrics department has a new look complete with an ultrasound machine. Dr. Amats office will be moving across the hall complete with sofa so the staff will have a place to rest or catch some zzz's between shifts if needed. Also the lobby has great new seating, a magazine rack and coke and snack machine that for a few coins will keep you at least filled up when you can't get to the GD for a burger. Again, we are grateful to the board for taking the time and money to update HGH. Our doctors and nurses deserve any and all extras the Board can manage in these hard times. And that goes double for our patients.. They deserver the best we can do for them, well, most of them.
